An Introduction : Jack Anthony

This wonderful little man joined us just a week ago, a whole week and 1 day before his due date, weighing 7lbs 4oz.

Becoming parents is every bit as wonderful as we had hoped.  Yes we are tired, but one look at that little face gazing back at mine makes it all worth while.

He is named Jack for James' Grandad, who he sadly never met as he passed away before James was born and Anthony for my Dad, who I know would have been so proud of this little man.  So two strong names for two inspirational men.  Plus that keeps the "J" theme going in our family!

We are enjoying some time as a family until Daddy goes back to work next week.  So far we have managed to venture out to the shops with the pram and visited Nana & Grandad.  We have received some beautiful gifts from family & friends and we feel so fortunate to have a healthy, happy little boy in our lives.

So this is little man today at one week old... he is already changing before our eyes and I am begging time not to go too quickly so I can enjoy every minute of my tiny little Angel :-)

Hi Jenny, I just came across your blog because I fell in love with the snowflake crochet blanket you made last year....

But well, this birth is wonderful news! Congratulations on your newborn sun! He looks so peaceful and beautiful, you are a lucky mama :).

Just wanted to let you know that if you find time somewhere in the future, I would love to know the pattern for the snowflake hexagons.

Wishing you 3 all luck and health,

love
